Save the Date! Big Give Green Match Fund 2024

Please save the date for this year’s Big Give Green Match Fund campaign – 18th to 25th April - and watch out for more news on how you can make sure veterinary expertise gets to where it’s needed; on the conservation frontline.

We have an amazing £10,000 of match funding to unlock. We need your help to match that with online donations. Together we can raise a game-changing £20,000.

Vets and biologists on the conservation frontline need the right wildlife health knowledge and skills to maximise the impact they have on saving threatened species and protecting biodiversity.

Vets operating in regions rich in biodiversity but limited in financial resources often struggle to get training in wildlife health. Access to veterinary expertise becomes pivotal to the survival or extinction of species, which in turn impacts ecosystems and climate. Unforeseen disease outbreaks can exacerbate the challenges faced by threatened species. Without the relevant skills and knowledge, frontline vets find it difficult to safeguard species diversity and ecosystem resilience.

By partnering local conservationists with specialist vets, we ensure that those working in economically disadvantaged but biodiverse regions, where there is a lack of wildlife health training, receive the right knowledge and skills to save threatened species.

Our vision is for everyone working to save threatened species to have the essential wildlife health tools they need for treating sick and injured animals, managing disease, and responsibly releasing species back into the wild. Together, we can protect the planet and build a world where all thrive.

Get ready to give vets working on the conservation frontline the best chance of saving endangered species and protecting biodiversity.
