Established in 1997, it is one of the top seven tiger funding agencies globally and has contributed over £1.9 million to over 130 individual proposals for 70 tiger projects in seven countries worldwide.

ALTA is a fundrasing body to which members, such as WVI, are able to apply for funding. Funds raised through ALTA have supported WVI's Amur leopard and tiger work in the Russian Far East.

Big Cat Sanctuary
The Big Cat Sanctuary and its partner site, the Zoological Society of Hertfordshire, have been generous long term supporters of our work with big cats and of the Wild Tiger Health Project in particular.
Big Give
Every year we take part in at least one Big Give fundraising campaign, when the amount our supporters raise online is doubled by the charity. The Big Give Christmas Challenge is our main fundraising event of the year, and recently enabled us to raise £30k to protect wild tiger health.
BirdLife International (Africa)
BirdLife Int (Africa) came to the rescue of the Seychelles Magpie Robin by securing emergency funding from the Critical Ecosystem Partnership Fund (CEPF). This enabled WVI to survey all the Seychelles magpie robins for disease.
Burtons Veterinary Equipment
Burtons have donated a microscope for the laboratory we have set up at Painted Dog Conservation’s rehabilitation clinic in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe. In addition, Burton’s helps source bespoke field anaesthesia equipment for our big cat projects.

CEPF, through BirdLife Int (Africa) provided emergency funding for WVI to survey all the Seychelles mapgie robin populations for disease. This helped find out what was going wrong on Aride Island.
Colchester Zoo
Action for the Wild is Colchester Zoo’s charitable arm, providing both financial and technical assistance to conservation. Action for the Wild has supported WVI’s Amur leopard health programme since 2004 both with funds and training their captive leopards to allow their heart to be listened to while conscious.
Folly Farm
Folly Farm has staunchly supported WVI since our founding in 2004. Their greatest achievement was raising a significant £1000 over the wet and dismal summer of 2012 for our Amur leopard and tiger projects in Russia. This was no mean feat - thank you!
Friends of Paradise Wildlife Park
FoPWP host events and activities at the park to raise funds to support wildlife and conservation projects at home and globally. Paradise Wildlife Park is a multi-award winning wildlife education and conservation centre which is also a great day out for all of the family. FoPWP have supported WVI's big cat projects since 2004.

Henry Schein Animal Health has donated equipment to many of our projects, particularly Zimbabwe and India. In addition we have been able to use their distribution expertise to mobilise large shipments to our projects and have a mutually beneficial marketing strategy.

Set up in 1982 by Mrs Jean Sainsbury, the trust donates money to charities which conserve wildlife, relieve animals from suffering, protect animals and encourage the understanding of animals.

Kynetec employees chose WVI as one of their annual charitable beneficiaries in 2021, and funded the essential Disease Risk Assessment for the reintroduction of choughs to Kent.
Meadows Animal Healthcare
MAH donates F10 germicidal products to treat birds with wings severed by glass coated kite strings in Ahmedabad, India and domestic dogs with minor injuries brought into the vaccination clinics in Zimbabwe set up to reduce the risk of disease to the African painted (or hunting) dog.
Millpledge Vet Ltd
Millpledge are long term supporters of WVI, having donated consumables to projects for many years, notably in India and Zimbabwe. In 2023, Millpledge marked a new charity partnership with WVI through the launch of their new Natural World Rapz veterinary bandages and an amazing initial donation of £12,000.

PLH Medical Ltd is one of the leading suppliers of X-Ray imaging equipment and solutions.
PLH Medical helped us source an excellent mobile x-ray machine, laptop and software and installed it with Marine Conservation Society, Seychelles. They continue to support us by spreading the word!

Safe4 have donated biodegradable and environmentally safe disinfectants to our clinic based projects, mainly with injured birds in India and vaccination and minor injury clinics in Zimbabwe.

As a small zoo in Cambridgeshire, Shepreth Wildlife Park punches high above its weight in terms of support for conservation, through its charitable arm, SWCC. WVI's tiger work in Bangladesh and Sumatra is amongst its beneficiaries.

A sister zoo to Paradise Wildlife Park, WHF's Big Cat Sanctuary was set up to raise awareness and funds for big cat conservation. WHF has been long supporters of our Amur leopard project and all our tiger projects (Russia, Sumatra and Bangladesh).
VetCT
VetCT staff are currently raising funds for WVI through a virtual challenge that ‘visits’ a number of our projects around the globe. To accompany the challenge, VetCT is hosting a series of public webinars with WVI veterinary partners to spread the message about the importance of veterinary expertise to conservation.
Vetronic Services
Vetronic Services provided a ventilator SAV03 to donate to the Jivdaya Charitable Trust who organise the makeshift surgical clinics for the duration of the International Kite Festival in India where over 2000 birds are injured. Vetronics continue to service the ventilator on its trips to the UK.

Virbac UK are Partners in Conservation and the anaesthetics they donate to WVI are over and above their financial support. In addition the Virbac team are highly supportive of WVI and offer us regular article space in their publications
Yorkshire Wildlilfe Park
YWP has three painted dogs and has also donated £3,000 and raised a further £1800 towards the African Painted Dog health project in Zimbabwe, thanks to a high profile public appeal, a fund-raising Open Day and the keepers selling African Painted dog badges at talks.

Reed Foundation
Through the Big Give Christmas Challenges of 2013, 2014 and 2015, the Reed Foundation match funded online donations made during challenge hours. These funds became the seed funding for our project in the Seychelles, training government vets and field staff why and how to collect disease surveillance samples from endangered species. In 2015 the Challenge contributed to the Pine Marten Recovery Programme.
