Dr Meera Mokashi, a wildlife vet from India

Hi, I’m Dr Meera Mokashi, a wildlife vet from India.
Wildlife Vets International genuinely cares about helping vets like me make a difference to wildlife. They don’t just talk about conservation; they actively create pathways for it to happen. They combine immediate support with long-term capacity building, which is exactly what conservation needs.
Because conservation isn’t just about passion; it’s about having the right tools and resources to make a lasting difference, and that’s what WVI brings to the table. Their work is building a stronger, more capable generation of conservationists, with the skills and experience to turn good intentions into long-term impact on wildlife health.
The support I’ve had from WVI has been game-changing for me. For example, I was able to attend a world-class course in chemical and physical restraint of wild animals which equipped me with essential skills for working safely and effectively with wildlife. But it wasn’t just about the skills – it was also a chance to meet incredible like-minded people and make connections that will help me for a long time to come.
Please support WVI, so more people like me can get the training they need to make conservation happen.
